Society will be open during Stroll Friday

JOHNSTOWN - The Johnstown Historical Society Museum will be open and will celebrate the annual Christmas tree lighting and Colonial Stroll, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Center, 17 N. William St.

The event will mark the end of the society's 120th anniversary celebration, a news release said.

The museums exhibits include the Elizabeth Cady Stanton/Judge Daniel Cady room, Women of Johnstown, Doctor William Hesek's office, Rose Knox, Keck Zouaves 1884, World War I, and World War II, honoring two Johnstown veterans Paul T. Valachovic, and Robert T. Cross.

There will be no charge. Donations are welcome, the release said.
