Mrs. Ruth Lemons, age 79, of Gloversville, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Mountain Valley Hospice.
She was born March 5, 1933, in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Corley and Naomi Boyd Andrews. She was employed as a waitress by Helen's Lunch in Gloversville.
Mrs. Lemons was of Catholic faith.
Ruth is survived by two children, Richard C. Snell of Gloversville and Donna Lemons of Durango, Colorado; a brother, Corley Andrews (Kimberly) of Caroga Lake; two sisters, Joan DiScioscia of Gloversville and Helen Bishop (Bill) of Caroga Lake. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Donald Jurica, Brandy Jurica and Katie Branson; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Lemons.
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service was held today, November 20, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. The Rev. Rendell Torres officiated.
