Nancy M. Lindquist, 62, of Trevet Road, Galway, died at home on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
She was born in Gloversville on September 19, 1950, a daughter of William and Violet Walker Lindquist and attended local schools. Nancy was a lifelong area resident.
She loved going to garage sales and bingo, and loved picture framing. Mostly, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a son, Rodney Weiderman; and a brother, Jeffrey Lindquist.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Weiderman of Port Angeles, Wash.; two daughters, Toni Houle of Fonda and April Chaplin of Troy; her mother, Violet Lindquist of Galway; four brothers, Steven Lindquist of Galway, Jerry and James Lindquist, both of Broadalbin, and William Lindquist of Fort Hunter; four sisters, Susan Parsons, Virginia Leonard and Lorraine Houle, all of Amsterdam, and Mary Canfield of Galway; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at noon at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home Inc., 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 and Black Street) Johnstown, with Pastor Charles Houle officiating. A calling hour will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady.
