Senior group plans rummage sale

GLOVERSVILLE - The Kingsboro Towers Tenants Association had their monthly meeting Sept. 10.

Before the meeting, Matt Trainor, who was running for City Court judge, was the guest speaker.

Betty Gugenberger, president, opened the meeting.

Art Byrne, chaplain, led in the Pledge of Allegiance and "The Lord's Prayer."

The reports of Midge DeMagistris and Roberta Nellis, treasurer and secretary, were accepted as read.

John Winn gave the sunshine report for June, July and August.

The 50-50 was done by Audrey Frohn. The winners were Gugenberger, Sharon Paul, Donna Groves, Angie Ruggeri and Lillian Ladeau.

On Oct. 15, the Bob Cats will be the entertainment.

The plans for the group's rummage sale were discussed.

A birthday cake was served for those who had birthdays in June, July and August.

The meeting was adjourned.

The next meeting will be Oct. 1.
