Della Baker, the daughter of Emmeren and Kathy Baker of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Frank Ferraro III, the son of Patricia and Frank Ferraro Jr. of Niskayuna, at 2 p.m. Oct. 1, 2011.

The ceremony took place at the Church of St. Clare, Colonie, Albany County.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Christine Altemus, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Christina and Nicole Ferraro, sisters of the bridegroom, Bridgett Walrath, and Courtney Ellis and Jessica Coon, cousins of the bride. The flower girls were Isabelle and Adeline Newcomb.

The best man was Nick Newcomb. The ushers were Bruce Altemus, Charles Snay, Dan Ferraro Jr. and Nick Ferraro, cousins of the bridegroom, and Joe Benincasa. The ringbearers were Dylan and Ryan Altemus, nephews of the bride.

Jessica Newcomb and Frank Ferraro Jr. performed the readings.

A reception for 190 guests took place at the Terrace at Waters Edge, Glenville.

A wedding trip of a cruise took place to Antigua, Bahamas, St. Thomas and Tortola. The couple resides in Rotterdam.

The bride is a graduate of Gloversville High School and received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta, Otsego County. She works for the Schenectady County Department of Social Services.

The bridegroom is a graduate of South Colonie High School and received an associate degree from Schenectady County Community College. He is a department manager for Hannaford.
