Help is needed to keep out the groundhogs from garden
My name is Pamela Bray. I’m on the board for the Community Garden, located on Fremont Street, in Gloversville.
We are doing a spring cleanup on [Wednesday], at 1 p.m.
Last year we had major problems with our garden because of the groundhogs and its family which grew very large eating our crops.
We tried trapping them but didn’t have any luck catching them.
We need help from the community and are looking for donations of free wood to help secure under the fencing so the groundhogs can’t get under it.
The donations of 2-by-4s or 2-by-2s and pallets that could be cut up to drive into the ground. Please drop off material at Fremont Street Garden or call me at (518) 725-6902. I will then make arrangements.
All donations will be greatly appreciated.
