Voters need to be informed
While Johnstown voters agreed to keep the Water Department independent, it is possible the election could [be] contested.
My election official did not tell me about the referendum on the back of the ballot, so I did not vote on it. Others might not have been informed too.
At the bottom of mail-in ballots, in small print, it warned, “Remember to vote both sides.”
After all the results are in, it would be interesting to see if there was a difference between votes cast for presidency and those for the water board question.
