Food pantry still accepting food, monetary donations at this time
The COVID-19 has certainly impacted the way we live, travel and support ourselves in order to prevent further spread. Despite the changes within Hamilton County, the food pantry located in Indian Lake (Warren-Hamilton Counties Community Action Agency) is still up and running 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The precautionary measures are in place: No one can enter our building; everyone will knock on the door, we will provide you with an updated pantry list, you can fill it out 6 feet from the building or in your car. We will do our best to fulfill your order based on your selections and family size. Orders will then be placed six feet from the building or to your car. We ask that you provide your own bags, however we do have plenty of boxes.
The pantry is available to all Hamilton County residents, based on income and need. We will continue to provide up to 10 days worth of food each month per family, based upon availability. There will be no dog food available at this time. Please call (518) 648-5911 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or questions.
Yes, we are still accepting food and monetary donations at this time.
