Sounds like the board is using scare tactics

When Johnstown school district taxpayers hear that 78 percent of the school budget goes to employees, in salaries and benefits, one wonders why the board chooses to eliminate sports and kindergarten if the proposed 35 percent tax increase is defeated in the election.

This sounds like the captain of a ship caught in a storm announcing over the speakers, “Because we are running out of food, all children age 5 and under must be cast overboard,” while the 300 pound first mate smiles.
