Thank you for help with construction
This note is to thank the young construction worker who stopped at my side yard at the corner of Glebe and East Fouth on Wednesday night on his way home from work to offer to help me with soil tamping work I was doing.
The heavy, homemade tamper that my brother, David, constructed makes the job easier. I believe tamping, at a moderate pace, is good exercise even for a senior citizen.
I would also like to thank the several other people who have stopped this year to express concern over me doing manual labor in the sun on hot afternoons.
The Johnstown area is a nice place to live.
