Thanks for aid to Brennan

The Board of Directors of the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society wish to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to local business and community members who recently partnered with us to raise funds for the care and shelter of our animals. Our very first online auction received strong support from businesses and individuals who donated items for sale and those who submitted bids. Next, a Gloversville High School art class visited the shelter, took photos of our animals and then transformed their photos into works of art. Their creations were unveiled at an art show held in the lobby of the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce and later auctioned off for the benefit of the humane society.

Then, Gianna’s Bar & Bistro and Adirondack Brewery sponsored and hosted a chili cookoff as a joint fundraiser for both the Brennan Humane Society and the Regional Animal Shelter. It took many people to plan and execute this event, so we are indebted to everyone who contributed to its success – the chefs, the volunteers and the slew of local businesses who donated gifts.

We are constantly amazed by the outpouring of support we receive from our community in recognition of our efforts. To merely say thank you for all this seems inadequate, yet our grateful appreciation is sincere. With your help, we will continue our mission of securing permanent, responsible, loving homes for the animals entrusted to our care. You rock.
