William Richard Moeller
William Richard Moeller affectionately known as “Bill” passed away on February 9, 2021, at Advent Health Hospital in Celebration, Florida.
Born in Nyack, New York, October 23, 1942, he is the son of the late Otto and Claire Moeller.
Bill graduated from Nyack High School and attended University of Vermont. He was an automobile mechanic. He then became a supervisor of bus maintenance at Red and Tan Bus Lines. Bill was involved in drag racing when he was younger and won many trophies with his 1960 Pontiac. He had a lifelong interest in model trains, was an excellent bowler and photographer. Bill also had interest in horses and taught horseback riding for some time.
On Feb. 1, 1969, he married Theresa “Terry” Ryan. They were married happily for 52 years.
Together they lived in Rockland County, New York for many years before moving to Northville, in 2000 to pursue winter activities such as snowmobiling. They were currently residing in Clermont, Florida.
In addition to his loving wife, Terry, he is survived by cousins, Nancy Arnold Martin, Jeff Arnold and Joan Arnold Stroia; godchildren, Joseph Keyrouse IV, Kevin Keyrouse, Kelly Keyrouse, Gregory Spires, Kim Spires Liebendorfer.
