Marguerite Lucille Pangallozzi
Marguerite Lucille (Buanno) Pangallozzi, 92, (formerly of Gloversville), passed away in Chatham, MA, of natural causes. She was a resident of Liberty Commons, Chatham, MA. Marguerite was born in Gloversville, on July 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Dominic and Pasqualina Covelli Buanno. She attended Gloversville schools. Marguerite married the late Joseph Pangallozzi in 1950; they enjoyed 30 years of marriage until his passing in 1980. They moved to Poughkeepsie, NY, where they raised their children. Marguerite worked for many years in various departments of the offices of Dutchess County until her retirement, than relocated back to Gloversville. She later moved to Massachusetts to be near her daughters.
Marguerite was an avid reader and loved to watch old movies, particularly those of the World War II era, in which she grew up. Her greatest joy, however, was her family and loved when they were all together and she was able to cook large meals.
Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lynch of Naples, FL and Brewster, MA; Theresa Chiriatti (Richard) of Centerville, MA; and her son Joseph Pangallozzi (Laura) of Maplewood, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Lynch (Gordon Joyce), Michael Lynch (Mabel Wong), Stephanie Badrigian (Stuart), Jessica Pangallozzi, Teresa Pangallozzi and Jared Pangallozzi; step-grandchildren, Robin Bogdanowicz (Steve) and Justin Chiriatti; also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Robert and Veronica Joyce, Martin Lynch, Ian and Lily Bogdanowicz, Joseph and Christian Chiriatti; also many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael Sr., Comie, Frank, Michael J., Henry, Patrick and Anthony Buanno; her sisters, Ann Buanno, Madeline Persico, Emma DelSavio and Mary Rossi.
