Mr. William Fancher, 90, of Johnstown passed peacefully on Saturday, June 13th, 2020, at home as he wished, surrounded by his daily loved dearly by his side and the professional care and comfort of Hospice. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
Willie is predeceased by not only parents but also his cherished wife; Audrey J (Snell) Fancher, who passed April 12, 2011, where they would raise a beautiful family and live a lifetime locally, working for many years as a well-known face at the former Johnstown Hospital. Willie was an orderly who was special in the hearts and minds of many he worked with, as they were to him. He enjoyed relaxing with his Gennesee or favorite beer and taking in the evening in silence or in conversation with wonderful family or special friends. He leaves behind his beloved son; Timothy Fancher, and his wife Kelly M. Fancher, of Gloversville; loving daughter; Carol Rose; of Johnstown, cherished grandchildren; Adam, Clifford, Karen, Christine, Brian, and Kohl.; his 10 adored great-grandchildren and special friends Tom and Lisa. Willie also leaves behind several special nieces, Cathy, Cindy and Debbie as well as other wonderful nieces and nephews who were all there through his life in various meaningful ways. Also he leaves behind dear friends, Tom and Lisa.
