Terry L. Graudons Sr.
Terry L. Graudons Sr., 73, of East Pine Street, Gloversville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at the Mountain Valley Hospice House.
He was born in Little Falls on May 25, 1946, a son of Henry and Audrey Gardinier Graudons. He attended both Little Falls and Catholic schools. He married Cora Handy Graudons on April 18, 1964. She passed away on July 1, 2006. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his parents.
Mr. Graudons was a shoemaker for several years and was employed at the former Felt Shoe Company in Little Falls. Later, he worked at Palatine Textiles, formerly in St. Johnsville. Terry enjoyed playing bingo at area locations and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Terry (Diane) Graudons Jr. of Mayfield; a daughter, Christine (Elander) Lewis of Gloversville; two sisters, Carol Graudons of Gloversville and Barbara (Edward) Hunt of Amsterdam; a brother, Henry “Hank” (Claudia) Graudons of Little Falls; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was performed at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Services will be held at Johnstown Church of Christ, 107 Stoller Road, Johnstown, NY, on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Ephratah Cemetery.
