Laura M. (Joyal) Razzano, age 70, of Johnstown, went to be in heaven with her loved ones; sisters, brother and parents on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born on March 11, 1949 in Ausable Forks, a daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Ashley Joyal.

Laura was a homemaker to her loving family. She was a member of the Glove Cities Colonials Auxiliary and Johnstown Moose. Mrs. Razzano was a charter member in 1993 and president for 15 years of the Johnstown Eagles Auxiliary. Laura also chaired many children’s parties for Easter, Halloween and Christmas at the Eagles. She was a member of the Busy Bee’s Bowling League for many years. Mrs. Razzano enjoyed many years of attending fast pitch softball tournaments and bowling tournaments in Ausable Forks. Laura also enjoyed attending Buffalo Bills games and the casinos.

She is survived by her husband, the love of her life for 45 years, Lawrence Razzano, whom she was married for 30 years on August 19, 1989; children Jerry Joyal (Cindy), Matthew Shambo (Susan), Mary Hasley (Daron), Rebecca Hadcock (Jay); four grandchildren Alyssa Hadcock, Jay Hadcock, Donavan Hasley and AJ Hasley and two great-grandchildren Abigail and Aaron (“the loves of her life”). She is also survived by one sister Helen McKiernan of Ausable Forks and two brothers Edward Joyal (Jackie) of Canada and John Joyal of Connecticut and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Laura is predeceased by one brother Robert Joyal and four sisters Patricia Righi, Margaret Kane, Paula O’Donnell and Mary White.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 North Melcher Street, Johnstown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Holy Trinity Church, Glebe Street, Johnstown with Rev. Donald Czelusniak as celebrant.

Interment will be in Fern Dale Cemetery, Johnstown immediately following the Mass.

A gathering for family and friends will be held after the service at 1 p.m. at Patricia’s.
