It is with great sadness that the family of Andrea H. Nicolella Clemons announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer on October 2, 2019, at the age of 56, with her loving family by her side.

Andrea was born on July 2, 1963, in Gloversville, New York, to Victor A. Nicolella and Phyllis C. Nicolella. She attended Gloversville High School and graduated in 1981. She went on to attend Green Mountain College in Vermont and later graduated in 1987 from Fulton-Montgomery Community College with an associate’s degree in business administration.

Andrea pursued her passion for business and sales throughout her whole life. She was a store manager for Stewarts Corporation, Rentway, and Rent-A-Center. In 2008, Andrea joined Avon as a Corporate District Sales Manager. She was honored as being one of the ‘Top 100 Employees Nationwide’ for Avon and awarded a trip to Paris. Andrea and Robert worked tirelessly to re-open the CreeMee Freeze and went on to have three successful summers. At present, Andrea worked for the U.S. Postal Service at the Galway Post Office. She also served as a volunteer for the Women’s Auxiliary with the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department. She was very active in her community, always lending a helping hand wherever and whenever needed.

Andrea will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Robert Clemons of 26 years. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis C. Nicolella; two brothers, Victor T. Nicolella (Christine), Christopher M. Nicolella (Amanda); and one sister, Phyllis-Lynn (Nikki) Nicolella Famiano (Guy); four nieces, Courtney Nicolella (Dane Luey), Erika Nicolella (Daniel Rysedorph), Anastasia Yi (Joe), Sophia Nicolella; one nephew, Domenico Famiano; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Cheryl Boudreau-Clemons. Her father, Victor A. Nicolella; grandparents, Thomas and Helen Campanile, Andrew and Concetta Nicolella; father-in-law, William Clemons Jr.; uncle, Phil Boudreau; and grandfather, Eldon Boudreau predeceased her in death.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 4 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at the Northville Funeral Home Inc., 401 Bridge Street, Northville, N.Y. 12134. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Jun Segura at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 501 Bridge Street, Northville, N.Y. 12134 followed by graveside burial at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Northville.
