Patricia Komorny of Middle Grove, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday May 12, at Albany Medical Center. She was 71 years old.
Born on October 5, 1947, in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale Lauritano and Immaculata “Jennie” Sardella.
Patricia was married to her husband of over 53 years, Paul Komorny, on January 24, 1966.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Saratoga West Side Iron Works in Saratoga Springs and later as a teller at the Gloversville National Bank on Broadway until her retirement.
Patricia loved her children and grandchildren and was a dedicated, devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and she gave her whole heart and soul to them.
She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Delores Tice.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; a son, Jason Sardella and his wife Stacey of Charlton, NY; a daughter, Amy L. Clarke of Middle Grove, NY; three sisters, Angel Sax of Saratoga Springs, NY, Nancy Campagnone of Connecticut, and Vincetta Sicilia of Gloversville, NY; seven grandchildren, Sophia Sardella, Nikolas Komorny, Blake Komorny, Xandria, Xavier, Zakary and Zoe Clarke; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Middle Grove Cemetery following the services.
