Brandan O. Smith

Brandan O. Smith, age 24, of Fonda, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017, at his residence.

He was born on January 27, 1993, in Gloversville, a son of Henry Smith Sr. of Fonda and Hope Woodbeck Case (Richard) of Fort Plain.

Brandan attended Johnstown schools and worked in farming and construction. He was a member of Grace of God Church in Fonda and was also member of the Ephratah Rod & Gun Club. Brandan enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved spending time with his son, Wyatt. He also had a love for the game of soccer and will be remembered for his extraordinary sense of humor and his ability to make people smile.

In addition to his parents, he is survived his son, Wyatt Smith of Johnstown; three brothers, Jeremy Smith, Aaron Smith and Henry Smith Jr.; two sisters, Heather Smith and Sabrina Rouse; maternal grandmother, Sally Miller; stepfather, Richard Case; step-siblings, Richard Case, Bobbie Jo Tarbox, Michelle Graefe and Justine Case; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Wade Prime officiating.

Private cremation will be at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
