∫ Meet the Artist reception in the gallery: Micropolis Cooperative, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville, 5 to 7 p.m. Fused and blown glass artist Cheryl Gutmaker will be the featured guest. The work also on display will include paintings, drawings, pastels, photographs, fiber art, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, jewelry, pottery, woodland assemblages, baskets and fine art cards by Micropolis artists.

∫ The Sacandaga Sportsmen’s Day at the Sacandaga Bible Conference, 191 Lakeview Road in Broadalbin, 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Expert speakers, seminars, vendors, silent auction, prizes and game buffet dinner. Keynote speaker will be Randy Flannery, a master Maine guide and owner/operator of Wilderness Escape Outfitters, a year-round sporting and wilderness retreat on the shoreline of Upper Hot Brook Lake in Danforth, Maine. Doors open at 9:45 a.m., cost is $20 per person, purchase tickets at the office or at the door. The admission price includes an all-you-can-eat buffet, two seminars, a session with the guest speaker and a chance to win door prizes. ∫ Moonlight snowshoe tour from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. The tour leaves the lodge building at 6:30 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes early if renting snowshoes. Cost for the tour is $40 ($5 extra if renting snowshoes). Ages 18 and older. Space is limited; reservations are a must. Headlamps are strongly recommended.
