∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.
∫ Mary Ann Delany — artist for the month: Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., Fonda. The artwork exhibit can be viewed during library hours. The work will be on display through November.
∫ Micropolis and Friends art show: Micropolis Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. The work of 27 artists will include the work of invited guests, Linda Batchelor, Julie Branch, Betty Hanson, Juliet Konieczny, Marion Kratky, Darlene Van Sickle and an Adirondack woodman. The artwork on display include paintings, pastels, photographs, fiber art, mixed media, woodwork, sculpture, glass, digital art, jewelry, pottery, drawings, woodland assemblages, baskets and collages of fine art cards. The show, which is free and open to the public, runs through December. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
∫ Writers Circle Author Luncheon with Bill Buell: Gloversville Senior Center, 53 Church St., Gloversville, 11 a.m. The Writers Circle will host Buell, the Schenectady historian and author, who will discuss the work he has done.
