∫ Photography: An A to Z Scavenger Hunt — Linda Buckman, Trisha Johnson and Cindy Sagendorph: Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., Fonda. The artwork exhibit can be viewed during library hours. The work will be on display through October.

∫ 125th anniversary celebration: Johnstown Reformed Church, 351 N. Perry St., Johnstown, 7 p.m. The celebration will include a musical variety program with soloists, the church choir, and featuring musicians from the Johnstown High School Music Department. Donations to benefit the JHS Music Support Group. All are welcome.

∫ Halloween Family Fun Night at the Fulton County YMCA, 213 Harrison St., 6 to 8 p.m. Wear a costume and bring a bag for tick-or-treating. Games, bounce houses, crafts and more. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free.

∫ Not-so-Haunted Hayride and Pumpkin Party at Sandflats Orchard, 371 Martin Road in Fonda, 5 to 8 p.m. Visit the store to register and secure a spot.

∫ Halloween family event: Sammonsville Volunteer Fire Department, 1362 Route 67, Johnstown, 5 to 8 p.m. The ladies auxiliary event will include a DJ from 5 to 7 p.m.; trunk or treat, costume contest, face painting, “goodie” bags for the kids, child-friendly games, pumpkin painting, hay ride; and refreshments will be available.  

∫ Trunk or Treat at the Fonda Village Recreation Park on Park St. 4 to 6 p.m. Prizes for costumes by age group, music and other kid-friendly activities. Regular door-to-door trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m.

∫ Haunted Cemetery Tour, Drumm House in Johnstown, 7 p.m. Admission is $10. Guided ghost walk through in the Colonial Cemetery on Green Street.
