∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ Sandra J. Peters — photography artist of the month: Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., Fonda. The artwork exhibit can be viewed during library hours through Friday (May 31).

∫ Year of the Glove: Fulton-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce in the rotunda gallery, 2 N. Main St., Gloversville, 7 p.m. Free and open to the public. The exhibiton by the Fulton County middle and high school student art and essay competition, sponsored by the Fulton County historian and Fulton County Historical Society, will be on display through June 11.

∫ Robyn Valentine — “1825 Days of Survival”: Micropolis Gallery, 30 N. Main St., Gloversville. Valentine creates three-dimensional collages of metals, leather, fiber and cement. Paintings, drawings, pastels, photographs, fiber art, batik, mixed media, woodwork, glass, digital art, jewelry, pottery, woodland assemblages and fine art cards by Micropolis artists are also on display. The show, which is free and open to the public, runs through June from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

“Five local hikes”: Gloversville Public Library, 58 E. Fulton St., Gloversville, 5:30 p.m. Free event. The program will be presented by the Adirondack Mountain Club. Those attending can learn about five hiking trips, all within an hour of Gloversville.
