∫ Year of the Glove grand opening: Fulton-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce in the rotunda gallery, 2 N. Main St., Gloversville, 7 p.m. Free and open to the public. The exhibition by the Fulton County middle and high school student art and essay competition, sponsored by the Fulton County historian and Fulton County Historical Society, will be on display through June 11.

Main St., Fonda, 11 a.m. Palkner will discuss the book she wrote, “Magic and Tragic Rosebud” and the experiences she and Kelly faced as they worked at the Indian Health Services Hospital on the Lakota Sioux Rosebud Indian Reservation, South Dakota.
