∫ The Gloversville Senior Center, 53 Church St., will be hosting a Christmas Eve breakfast starting at 9 a.m. The meal will feature a hot homemade breakfast of French toast topped with heavy cream and fruit/ fresh scrambled eggs/ crisp bacon/ sausages/ egg nog and hot chocolate. A $3 donation per breakfast appreciated, but not expected.

∫ The Baptist Church of Northville, 111 N. First St., will present a special Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday.

∫ Lego Building Challenge at the Canajoharie Library and Arkell Museum, 2 Erie Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get out of the house during Christmas break by stopping by the library to use its Lego collection to build amazing creations. Kids are encouraged to drop-in anytime and help themselves to the materials that will be available for all to use.

∫ Planet Dinosaur at the Amsterdam Free Library, 28 Church St., 1 p.m. Examine fossil specimens, help excavate and assemble a T-Rex skeleton, learn how dinosaurs evolved into birds and discuss the origins of flight, feathers and hollow bones.
