∫ Sacandaga Valley Arts Network Artists’ Gallery Exhibit: Fulton County Visitor Center, Routes 29 and 30, Vail Mills. Free and open to the public. Gallery is open weekends.

∫ Kathleen T. Oughton Monet canvas and fabric artwork: Frothingham Free Library, 28 W. Main St., Fonda. The exhibit can be viewed during library hours through Wednesday.

∫ Annual Harvest Festival and Kids Costume Parade, noon to 3 p.m., in downtown Johnstown. This free family-oriented event will start with the children’s costume parade at City Hall, 33-41 E. Main St., and ending at Sir William Johnson Downtown Park off West Main Street. Children are invited to a trick or treat afterwards. Crafts, games, music, and other activities throughout the park and downtown area. Entertainment at the event will include DJ Johnny Oh! at McLemon’s Boutique and Bill Ackerbauer will be performing kid-friendly music in the park’s Charles A. Jenner Memorial Bandshell. The event is sponsored by Downtown Johnstown Business and Professional Association

∫ Amsterdam’s annual Halloween Parade, sponsored by the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Amsterdam Lodge #101, 1 p.m. on Guy Park Avenue. The parade route will start at the corner of Guy Park Avenue and Evelyn Avenue. The review stand will be located in the parking lot of 93 Guy Park Ave.

∫ Trick or Treat on the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook pedestrian bridge in Amsterdam, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Local businesses, organizations, clubs, and schools come together to pass out treats all along the beautiful Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook pedestrian bridge.

∫ Trunk-or-Treat at the Hagaman Volunteer Fire department, 126 S. Pawling St., from 6 to 8 p.m. Fill up a Halloween candy bag and vote for “best trunk”
