Drunk driver had child in vehicle

JOHNSTOWN — Jason P. Casler, 36, of Canajoharie was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 9:35 p.m. May 25 with aggravated driving while intoxicated with child in vehicle, a felony; and traffic violations.

Deputies said he was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 334 in the town of Johnstown. It is alleged Casler drove while intoxicated with a five-year-old child, deputies said. The child was turned over to a responsible party, deputies said.

Casler was arraigned and will appear later in Town Court.

Running stop sign leads to more charges

JOHNSTOWN — Joshua D. Fegley, 23, of 74 Fremont St., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 1:49 a.m. April 28 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; and failure to keep right, a violation.

Police said he was charged on North Perry Street after officers stopped his vehicle for a state Vehicle & Traffic Law violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended driver’s license.

Fegley was issued appearance tickets for City Court.

Oct. ’19 offense leads to felony

JOHNSTOWN — Nicole M. Goodemote, 35, of 169 Old Peck Hill Road, Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:01 a.m. May 8 with felony fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged at the station stemming from an offense at 1:48 p.m. Oct. 19. Police said Goodemote was taken into custody on a warrant issued by City Court Judge Brett Preston. The warrant was issued on March 30.

She was held for arraignment in City Court.
