Toxicology report leads to DWAI

PERTH — Deborah J. Blair, 62, of 14 Mathias Ave., Amsterdam, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies for a Sept. 11 incident with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies said she was charged following a vehicle complaint in the town of Perth. Deputies received complaints on Sept. 11 around 6:40 p.m. of a vehicle operating erratically on County Highway 107. Upon arrival, deputies observed Blair allegedly pulled over on the shoulder of the highway, asleep behind the wheel.

Further investigation found her to allegedly under the influence of drugs, and in possession of crack cocaine. Deputies said they were waiting on toxicology reports.

She was issued appearance tickets for Town Court.

Unlawful sale of alcohol charged

MAYFIELD — Mary R. Halgas, 57, of Johnstown was charged on Monday with prohibited sale of alcohol and first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.
