Bad headlight leads to multiple chares

JOHNSTOWN — Amanda L. Foss, 30, of 4 Saratoga Ave., Broadalbin, was charged by city police at 7:08 p.m. Dec. 14 with insufficient headlamps, a violation; and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, both misdemeanors.

Police said Foss’ vehicle was stopped on South Comrie Avenue for a state Vehicle & Traffic Law violation. But police said they also found her driver’s license suspended and vehicle registration suspended.

She will appear later in City Court.

Driver charged with having revoke license

JOHNSTOWN — Charles A. Campione, 35, of 10 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, was charged by city police at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 4 with insufficient lamps, a violation; and aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Police said officers stopped his vehicle on South Comrie Avenue for a state Vehicle & Traffic Law violation. Police found his driver’s license had been revoked.

Campione will appear later in City Court.

Vehicle occupant arrested on warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Charles L. Gray, 45, of 504 Currytown Road, Sprakers, was arrested by city police at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 4 on an active warrant.

Police said officers stopped a vehicle on South Comrie Avenue for a state Vehicle & Traffic Law violation and found that Gray, one of the occupants, had a bench warrant.

He was subsequently taken into custody and turned over to another unnamed agency.

Teen charged with menacing

JOHNSTOWN — Brian F. Battisti, 18, of 3 Pearl St., was charged by city police at 10:18 a.m. Dec. 9 with second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.

Police said members of the Johnstown Police Department responded to a family offense involving a knife at 3 Pearl St. During the investigation, police learned a male suspect, Battisti, had possessed a knife and threatened harm to others within the household.

Battisti was arraigned in City Court and released to reappear later.

Field interview leads to arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Ricky J. Hart, 50, of 607 County Highway 122, Johnstown, was arrested by city police at 8:20 p.m. Dec. 9 on an active warrant.

Police said officers arrested Hart on O’Neil Avenue after conducting a field interview and finding an active warrant was held by state police.

He was taken into custody, held and then turned over to state police.

Driver charged with drunk driving

FLORIDA — Michael A. Soto, 50, of Fort Hunter was charged by state police on Monday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
