Inadequate headlamp leads to charges

JOHNSTOWN — Adam D. Horan, 18, of 45 Yost St., was charged by city police at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 7 with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate headlamp, a violation.

Police said he was charged on East Main Street. He was stopped for an alleged vehicle and traffic law violation and his driver’s license was found to be suspended.

Driver found to be fugitive from justice

JOHNSTOWN — John M. Dwyer, 79, of 821 Esperance Road, Esperance, was charged by city police at 7:32 p.m. Nov. 7 with one felony count of fugitive from justice and inadequate headlamps, a violation.

Police said he was arrested on North Comrie Avenue. He was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation and he was found to be wanted by authorities in Logan County, Co. for an extraditable warrant. He was taken into custody without incident and held for arraignment.

He faces further court action.

Man facing felony for alleged burglary

GLEN — Michael C. Hill, 29, of Schenectady was charged by state police on Friday with burglary of a dwelling causing injury, a class B felony, third-degree menacing and third-degree assault with intent to cause injury for an incident which occurred in the town of Florida on Nov. 8.

Hill was held for arraignment.

Amsterdam man facing drug charge

AMSTERDAM — Jonathan Mercado Tirado, 34, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Friday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Gloversville man charged with assault

JOHNSTOWN — Brian L. Rhodes, 45, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with first-degree assault with intent to cause injury.

Two charged with petit larceny Monday

NORTHVILLE — Joseph F. Pagano, 44, of Mayfield was charged by state police on Monday with petit larceny for an incident in Benson.

Also charged with petit larceny was Kevin M. Sheils, 60, of Northampton for the same incident.

Man charged with bail jumping

CLIFTON PARK — John S. Becker, 47, of Esperance was charged by state police on Tuesday with second-degree bail jumping, a class E felony.

He was released on an appearance ticket.

Two charged with petit larceny

AMSTERDAM — Karie L. Shuster, 53, and Jeffery A. Lexa, 26, were charged by state police on Tuesday with one count of petit larceny each.

Both were released on appearance tickets.
