First-offense DWI charged

ROTTERDAM — Lexi T. Bohringer, 20, of Broadalbin was charged by state police on Sept. 2 with first-offense driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Driver facing two DWI felonies

MOHAWK –Andrew J.. Szala, 42, of Canajoharie is facing two felonies after being stopped by state police on Saturday.

Szala was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and circumventing the interlock system.

Man charged with having child porn

AMSTERDAM — State police charged George L. Shuttleworth, 73, with promoting a sexual performance of a child less than 17 years of age and possessing sexual performance by a child.

Shuttleworth was held for arraignment.

Man charged with CPW, fourth-degree

CAROGA — William C. Reyes, 35, of Ephratah was charged by state police on Saturday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Man charged for alleged July burglary

GLOVERSVILLE — Bruce L. Taylor, 36, of 7 Maple St., was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on charges of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal tampering by city police on Saturday at 9:56 a.m.

The arrest warrant for Taylor was issued out of City Court in connection to a July 20 incident when Taylor allegedly entered a Montgomery Street residence unlawfully and tampered with property.

Taylor was taken into custody, processed and held for arraignment.
