Teen charged with harassment, 2nd

GALWAY — An 18-year-old unidentified Galway teen was charged by state police on June 25 with second-degree aggravated harassment at 9:58 p.m.

The female was charged for an incident which occurred in Clifton Park at 6:25 p.m.

She was arraigned and released in her own recognizance.

Driver facing drunk driving charges

MAYFIELD — Kirsten Tesiero, 23, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

She was stopped at 10:04 p.m. on Route 30A.

Galway man charged with assault

GALWAY — Shawn M. Renner, 57, of Galway was charged by state police on Saturday with third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment for an incident which occurred in Galway on June 30.

Driver charged with being unlicensed

MAYFIELD — Stephen P. Radz, 30, of Ballston was charged by state police on Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Radz was stopped on Route 30 at 12:45 a.m.

Man allegedly struck, choked victim

GLOVERSVILLE — Jerome A. Jones, 24, of 42 Broad St., was charged with third-degree attempted assault by city police on June 23 at 11:05 p.m.

Jones was taken into custody following an investigation into a domestic violence incident. During the course of investigation, police determined that Jones struck a female victim in the face with a closed fist and attempted to choke the individual.

Jones was taken into custody, processed and held for arraignment in City Court.

Stolen firearm, counterfeit money

GLOVERSVILLE — Zachary S. Jones, 28, of 98 S. Judson St., was taken into custody on two arrest warrants on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and petit larceny by city police on July 4 at 8:43 a.m.

Jones was located by police on East Pine Street and taken into custody on two active arrest warrants issued out of City Court stemming from two separate incidents.

One warrant was issued following an investigation into a May 22 incident on East Fulton Street. Police determined Jones took an unloaded .308 Savage rifle out of a residence without the permission of the owner and then possessed the rifle for a period of time as he left the area.

The second warrant stemmed from a March 14 incident at 3 Almond St. where Jones allegedly exchanged counterfeit money for actual money.

Jones was processed at the station and held for arraignment in City Court.

Woman accused of provoking fight

BROADALBIN — Christine Fancher, 34, of 414 Main St., Gloversville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies July 2 with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and one count of second-degree harassment.

Deputies said she was charged at the sheriff’s office after a fight in the town of Broadalbin. She was arrested following an extensive investigation, deputies said. Fancher allegedly provoked and initiated a physical altercation with an 18-year-old female, deputies said. During the fight, she damaged property belonging to the victim, including a gold necklace, deputies said.

Fancher will appear at a later date in Town Court.
