18-year-old gets Leandra’s Law DWI

BROADALBIN — Kyle R. Anderson Jr., 18, of 104 S. Second Ave., Mayfield, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 6 p.m. June 22 with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated [Leandra’s Law], as well as other state Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

Deputies said Anderson was charged on Lakeview Road following a traffic stop in the town of Broadalbin.

Authorities were responding to a disorderly conduct complaint in the town of Broadalbin when deputies observed a vehicle matching a provided description of a vehicle that left the scene of the complaint to which they were responding. It is alleged Anderson operated the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol with a passenger who was 14 years old, deputies said.

The suspect will appear later in Town Court.

Teen charged with harassment 2nd

GALWAY — On Thursday, an unidentified 18-year-old female from Galway was charged by state police with second-degree aggravated harassment for an incident which happened in the town of Halfmoon on that same date.
