Area woman arrested on petit larceny charge

JOHNSTOWN — Jayde M. Jasewicz, 43, of 200 Bleecker St., Gloversville, was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies at 4 p.m. Saturday with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Deputies said she allegedly stole alcohol from Hannaford supermarket, 235 Fifth Ave. Ext. in the town of Johnstown. Deputies said she was arrested in the vicinity of Hannaford.

She will appear later in Town Court.

Man charged with criminal mischief

MAYFIELD — Joseph R. Walter, 32 was charged by state police on Monday with criminal mischief.

Troopers said Walter was released with an appearance ticket.

Vehicle stop leads to drunk driving

AMSTERDAM — Jonathan L. Brzoza, 61, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater by state police on March 19.

Troopers said Brzoza was charged following a traffic stop on Route 5 in the town. Brzoza was issued a ticket for Town Court.
