Accident leads to drunk driving charge

MAYFIELD — A 23-year-old woman was charged on Monday by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies following a report of a vehicle off the roadway on Route 29A, in the town.

Hailey P. Hinman of Cornish, New Hampshire was located at the scene and interviewed. During the course of investigation it was determined that Hinman allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol, lost control of her vehicle and slid off the roadway.

Hinman was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed, third-degree operation of a motor vehicle, imprudent speed and failure to keep right.

She was processed and released to a sober third party. Hinman is scheduled to appear in Town Court at a later date.

Burnouts lead to DWI charges

NORTHAMPTON — A 33-year-old man was charged with several offenses by Fulton County sheriff deputies following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle complaint on Houseman Street.

Andrew J. Mianecki of Northville was located by deputies doing burnouts in his vehicle in the area of the Northampton Marina and a traffic stop was initiated after he traveled onto the roadway. Mianecki was interviewed and he allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol with an open container in the vehicle.

Mianecki was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with an open container. He is scheduled to appear in Town Court at a later date.

City man facing several felonies

FONDA — A Gloversville man was charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors following an arrest by state police March 17 for an incident which occurred in the village on March 12.

Nathaniel G. Coty, of 13 Burr St. was charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny for property valued at less that $1,000; two counts of second-degree forgery and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
