Traffic stop leads to DWI, other charges

MAYFIELD — Sheila A. Brown, 50, of Saratoga Springs was charged by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday with driving while intoxicated — 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol content, failure to keep right, operating without a license, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Deputies said Brown was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 29A in the town of Mayfield.

During an investigation, it was determined she was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

Brown will appear later in Town Court.

Woman flees police; arrested on warrant

GLOVERSVILLE — Alisha M. Hogan, 28, of 3741 Route 29, Johnstown, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on a charge of unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle by city police on Monday at 9 a.m.

The warrant for Hogan was issued out of City Court stemming from an incident that occurred on West Pine Street on Nov. 9 at 1:36 a.m. when Hogan allegedly fled police.

Hogan was processed and held for arraignment.

Man picked up on active bench warrant

GLOVERSVILLE — Leon V. Sweet, 61, of 23 Woodside Ave., was taken into custody on an active bench warrant by city police on Feb. 3 at 8:40 a.m.

The warrant for Sweet was issued out of City Court for failure to appear on a previous charge of menacing.

Sweet was processed and held for arraignment.

Woman charged with reckless endangerment

GLOVERSVILLE — Jacquelyn Bayless, 18, of 12 Addison St., was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant on charges of second-degree menacing and second-degree reckless endangerment by city police on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

The warrant for Bayless was issued out of City Court stemming from an alleged incident that occurred on Spring Street on Sept. 27 at 8:29 p.m.

Bayless was processed and held for arraignment.
