Man arrested on five counts of petit larceny

GLOVERSVILLE — Tyronne L. Allen, 46, of 79 W. Eighth Ave., was charged with five counts of petit larceny by city police on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Officers investigating the theft of merchandise from the Price Chopper at 358 N. Main St. by a suspect on five separate occasions from Dec. 31 through Jan. 8 found that Allen had stolen the merchandise from the store.

Allen was taken into custody and released with an appearance ticket returnable in City Court on Monday at 8:15 a.m.

Petit larceny charge lodged against man

GLOVERSVILLE — Darryl K. Johnson, 58, of 12 First Ave., was charged with petit larceny by city police on Saturday at 1:35 p.m.

Johnson was taken into custody following a larceny investigation at the True Value located at 25 Bleecker St. Police determined that Johnson took store merchandise past all points of sale without paying.

Johnson was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in City Court.

Disorderly conduct claim leads to arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Michele Baird, 37, of 18 Spruce St., was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Sunday at 11:21 p.m.

Officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint on Burr Street. During the course of investigation, Baird was observed yelling profanities and threats causing alarm to the public.

Baird was taken into custody and released with an appearance ticket.
