Man charged with identity theft

AMSTERDAM –Samuel Payano, 19, was charged with petit larceny and third-degree identity theft by state police on Oct. 29.

Man charged with burglary of building

PERTH — Elias D. Sanchez, 19, of Fort Plain was charged with second-degree burglary of a dwelling by state police on Oct. 27.

Sanchez was jailed on $10,000 cash bail.

Troopers: Man charged with DWI

MOHAWK –Carl C. Hunter, 51, of Johnstown was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and driving without headlights on by state police on Friday.

Hunter was issued tickets for Town Court on a later date.

Troopers: Inspection sticker not valid

AMSTERDAM — Amanda M. Burgos, 25, of Schenectady was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker, unlawful possession of marijuana and a right of way violation involving an emergency vehicle by state police on Friday.

Burgos was given appearance tickets for Town Court on a later date.

Woman charged after traffic stop

GLEN –Briana N. Miles, 21, of Schenectady was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without a valid inspection sticker, unlawful possession of marijuana and equipment violations for inadequate mirrors and exhaust systems by state police on Sunday.

Troopers said Miles was stopped on the New York state Thruway westbound near mile marker 179 in the town.

Man charged with one-way violation

AMSTERDAM — Daniel G. Goodwin, 39, of Ithaca was charged with a one-way violation for failure to use designated road and unlawful possession of marijuana by state police on Sunday.

Troopers said Goodwin was stopped on the New York state Thruway westbound near mile marker 174 in the town.
