Deputies: Man violated court order

MOHAWK — Victor Eckler IV, 40, of 1732 Huntersland Road, Middleburgh was charged on Tuesday by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with first-degree criminal contempt.

Eckler was charged for allegedly violating an order of protection that was issued by Judge Curt Woodcock in Town Court.

He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in court on Nov. 11 at 5 p.m.

Obstructed view leads to charges

AMSTERDAM — Raymond S. Vanvranken, 30, of 95 Greenwood Ave., was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with obstructed view and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Vanvranken was stopped for a vehicle and traffic infraction. While stopped, deputies learned that he held a suspended driver’s license.

He was processed roadside and released on appearance tickets to return to Town Court at a later date.

Speeding leads to marijuana charges

ROOT — Devon J. Warmack, 29, of Utica was charged by state police on Oct. 29 with speeding in a posted zone and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Warmack was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town Court at a later date.

DWI, breath test refusal charged

MAYFIELD — Joseph D. Ringer, 48, of Mayfield was charged by state police on Oct. 29 with speeding in a posted zone, driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test.
