Traffic stop leads to forgery charges
GLEN — Ali M. Sanoh, 19, of Bronx was charged by state police on Oct. 19 with first-degree possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of forgery with intent to use.
Sanoh was charged following a traffic stop on I-90 in the town of Glen for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the traffic stop, police found him in possession of numerous credit cards that did not belong to him, three forged checks and 16 blank checks in the same check stock as the forged checks.
He was taken into custody, transported and processed at state police Fultonville barracks.
Sanoh was arraigned in Florida Town Court and remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.
