Drugs allegedly found on person

GLOVERSVILLE — Ryan J. Burton, 29, of 8 Lexington Ave., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance by city police on Friday at 2:56 a.m.

Officers responded to 8 Lexington Ave. for an assist a person complaint. During the course of investigation police found one of the subjects involved, Burton, to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine.

Burton was taken into custody and transported to the station where he was held for arraignment in City Court.

Troy man charged with assault, 3rd

GLOVERSVILLE — Dominic J. Hathaway, 23, of 405 Washington St., Troy, was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, by city police on Friday at 10:10 a.m.

Officers interviewed a female at the station in reference to a domestic violence incident that occurred at the female’s residence on Sept. 22 around 2:22 p.m. During the investigation police determined that Hathaway caused physical injury to the victim in the presence of children.

A warrant for Hathaway’s arrest was signed in City Court by Judge Traci DiMezza and he was later located and taken into custody.

Hathaway was processed and held for arraignment.

Driver facing drunk driving charges

MAYFIELD — Katelynn A. Fiume, 30, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Friday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Fiume was released to a third party.

Woman charged with criminal mischief

AMSTERDAM — Melissa L. Murphy, 42, of Glenville was charged by state police on Friday with second-degree criminal mischief.

Failure to obey court order charged

AMSTERDAM — Seth A. Gregor, 32, of Benson was charged by state police on Friday with second-degree criminal contempt for failure to obey a court order.

Gregor was held on cash bail.

Man facing burglary charges

HOPE — Aaron P. Penley, 43, of Hope was charged by state police on Saturday with third-degree grand larceny for an incident which occurred in Gloversville on Oct. 15.

Woman charged with drunk driving

NORTHAMPTON — Tessa C. Hadland, 22, of Northville was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, no seatbelt and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Hadley man charged with drug possession

JOHNSTOWN — Freddy J. Alsterberg, 37, of Hadley, was charged by state police on Oct. 13 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
