Three arrested for drugs, warrants
JOHNSTOWN — Three people were arrested by city police at 10:14 p.m. Sunday on several charges, some of which involved drugs and warrants.
Police said Amanda L. Krutz, 28, of 31 Clintonview Blvd., New Hartford, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both misdemeanors; and failure to keep right, a violation..
Police said Glenn E. Bland, 27, of 61 Auburn Ave., Utica, was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor; and on a warrant, a violation.
Police said Michael B. Mack, 30, of 817 Mcvean St., Utica, was arrested in a parole warrant, a violation.
A vehicle the three suspects were in was stopped on Grand Street for a state vehicle and traffic law violation. Krutz, who was driving, was found to have a suspended New York state driver’s license and she was allegedly in possession of narcotics, police said.
Police said the two passengers — Bland and Mack — were in violation of parole. One of the passengers fled while officers attempted to take him into custody, later found and charged without incident.
Krutz will appear later in City Court.
Bland and Mack were sent to the Fulton County Jail on the parole warrants.
Three charged following traffic stop
JOHNSTOWN — Three people were charged by city police Saturday following a traffic stop on Collingwood Avenue.
Police said the Patrol Division stopped a vehicle for a violation of the state vehicle and traffic law. Police didn’t say who the driver was among two male suspects, and didn’t specify the violation.
Police said Adonta B. Moore, 22, of 3 Byard St., was charged with two felony counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.
Edward A. Rowback Jr., 48, of 8 William St., Gloversville, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.
A female passenger — Leann E. Trumbull, 39, of 73 E. Main St., St. Johnsville — was arrested on a warrant, a violation.
Police said Moore and Rowback were both allegedly found to be in possession of narcotics.
Rowback was released, while police said Moore and Trumbull were arraigned in City Court and held pending further court action.
Failure to pay fine leads to arrest
GLOVERSVILLE — Alexander Ross Fox, 23, of 13 Mill St., was charged on Sept. 28 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for failing to pay a fine.
Fox was detained by Gloversville Police Department and turned over to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for an active bench warrant issued by Mohawk Town Court.
He was arraigned in Glen Town Court and released on his own recognizance, and will be contacted by Mohawk Town Court regarding his fine.
Failure to appear results in arrest
JOHNSTOWN — Leann E. Trumbull, 39, of 73 E. Main St., St Johnsville was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on a Montgomery County Court warrant for failure to appear.
Trumbull was arrested at the Johnstown Police Department for an outstanding warrant from Montgomery County Court.
She was brought back to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await arraignment in county court.
