Driver charged with drunk driving

JOHNSTOWN — Douglas F. Gifford, 58, of Mayfield was charged by state police on Friday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

GLOVERSVILLE — Tina M. Miller, 50, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Sunday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Man facing felony drunk driving charge

PERTH — James J. Orapello, 35, of Hagaman was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony driving while intoxicated with two previous convictions within 10 years and felony driving while ability impaired by drugs with a previous conviction within 10 years.

Woman allegedly takes credit card

MAYFIELD — Crystal M. Sweet, 43, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Aug. 19 with fourth-degree grand larceny for property with a value of less than $1,000 and fourth-degree grand larceny of a credit card, both class E felonies, for an incident which occurred in Gloversville on May 9.

Man allegedly threatens neighbor

FONDA — Bruce M. McGreevy, no age given, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff deputies with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said an investigation revealed McGreevy allegedly threatened a neighbor with a weapon.

McGreevy was arraigned in Palatine Town Court and released in his own recognizance.

Active warrant leads to arrest

NORTHAMPTON — Alfio Coco, 28, of South Chase Street in Johnstown was arrested by Fulton County sheriff deputies on Tuesday on an active warrant out of Johnstown Town Court.

He was arraigned in Johnstown Town Court and released in his own recognizance.

Active warrant leads to jail

AMSTERDAM — Jacob A. Carey, 19, of Route 30 in Amsterdam was arrested by Fulton County sheriff’s deputies on an active warrant out of Perth Town Court.

Carey was arraigned in Perth Town Court and remanded to Fulton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 insurance bond.
