Traffic violation leads to drug charge

JOHNSTOWN — Anne M. Cook, 69, of 52 North Blvd., Gloversville, was charged by city police at 12:21 p.m. Friday with failure to keep right, a violation; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Police said she was charged on South Market Street in connection with an offense at noon Friday. Police said Cook’s vehicle was stopped for a state Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. Upon further investigation, she was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Cook will appear later in City Court.

Traffic stop results in felony DWI arrest

JOHNSTOWN –Jacob E. Currier, 27, of 651 Geyser Road, Ballston Spa, was charged by city police at 2:20 a.m. Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, and driving with 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol content, all misdemeanors; and felony DWI within 10 years.

Police said he was charged on Route 29 after his vehicle was stopped for a state Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. Upon further investigation, Currier was found to have a suspended New York state driver’s license and he was allegedly intoxicated.

He was held for arraignment in City Court.

Man arrested on multiple charges

MAYFIELD — Eli M. Grajales, 25, of Albany was charged by state police on Aug. 4 with felony second-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Traffic stop leads to drunk driving charge

JOHNSTOWN — Michell L. Frazier, 50, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Man arrested for criminal impersonation

PERTH — Davon M. Bryant, 33, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Sunday with second-degree criminal impersonation of another person.

Bryant was held for arraignment.

Woman charged with sexual misconduct

GLOVERSVILLE — Lacey M. Utter, 20, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Thursday with sexual misconduct, second-degree criminal contempt for failure to obey a court order and endangering the welfare of a child.

Teen arrested for intoxicated driving

BROADALBIN — Jacob A. Carey, 19, of Amsterdam was charged by state police on Thursday with criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, unsafe backing and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Carey was arraigned and released in his own recognizance.
