Man accused of rape, 3rd degree
BROADALBIN — Kyle B. Aguilera, 41, no address available, was arrested by Fulton County sheriff’s investigators Friday on a charge of third-degree rape.
Investigators said he was charged for an incident that had occurred in the village of Broadalbin.
Aguilera is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person younger than the age of 17, the sheriff’s office said.
He pleaded guilty in Fulton County Court to third-degree rape and was released pending sentencing later.
Man allegedly takes bottles of cologne
AMSTERDAM — Martin L. Cramer, 29, was charged on July 23, by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with petit larceny.
Cramer allegedly stole two bottles of cologne from Walmart on April 15. At the time of the alleged crime, Cramer had left the store and was unable to be located. An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest. He was located on July 23 and charged with petit larceny.
He was arraigned in Amsterdam Town Court and to reappear on a later date.
Man charged with violating court order
FORT PLAIN — Jordan S. Niziol, 23, of 118 Carroll Road, was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on July 22 for second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection.
Niziol was held at Montgomery County Correctional Facility until arraignment.
Man accused of stealing from family
PALATINE — Robert N. Prevost, 35, of 153 Main St., Fort Plain was charged on July 15 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies with petit larceny.
Prevost was charged after a complaint was made of him allegedly stealing from a family member.
He was issued an appearance ticket for Palatine Town Court.
No tail light leads to unlicensed charge
FLORIDA — Johnathan W. Taylor, of 821 Rankin Ave., Schenectady was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on July 19 with operating on a suspended registration and insufficient tail lamp.
Taylor was processed roadside and released on appearance tickets to return to court at a later date.
Forged inspection sticker charged
AMSTERDAM — Luis. D. Rivera, of 89 Fairview St., was charged by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on July 16 with displayed forged certificate of inspection and uninspected motor vehicle.
Rivera was pulled over on Route 30 in the town of Amsterdam for having an uninspected motor vehicle. During the stop deputies learned that the vehicle was displaying a forged inspection sticker.
He was processed roadside and released on appearance tickets.
Man allegedly shoplifts beer
PALATINE BRIDGE — Donald Barrus Lane, 48, of 93 E. Grand St., was charged on July 11 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for petit larceny.
Lane allegedly shoplifted beer from the Palatine Bridge Stewart’s Shop. He was described by Stewarts’ employees an located moments later.
He is scheduled to return to Palatine Town Court at a later date.
