Local woman arrested on multiple charges

SCHENECTADY — Ashley M. Clough, 28, of Johnstown, was charged by state police on July 11 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, license plate violation and illegal signal.

Two charged with criminal possession

JOHNSTOWN — Jessica I. Gallt, 35, of Johnstown was issued an appearance ticket by state police on July 12 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Also charged was Clarence E. Gallt, 45, of Johnstown with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Driver picked up for drunk driving

JOHNSTOWN — Ameris R. Poquette, 30, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Woman charged with suspended registration

AMSTERDAM — Kayla Belmonte, 35, of Mastic Beach was charged on June 25, by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating a suspended registration, uninspected motor vehicle and failure to provide proof of insurance.

She was issued traffic tickets and is to appear in Amsterdam Town Court on a later date.

Driver arrested for suspended registration

AMSTERDAM — Jason R. Paden, 45, of Canajoharie was charged on June 24, by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for operating a suspended registration.

Paden is to appear in Amsterdam Town Court on a later date.
