Police arrest woman for criminal contempt

AMSTERDAM — Ashley M. Figueroa, 24, of Amsterdam, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, and disorderly conduct by state police on Tuesday at 9:10 a.m. in connection to an incident that occurred on Monday around 4:26 p.m.

Woman charged with criminal impersonation

EPHRATAH — Chelsey A. Small, 19, of Gloversville, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, a class A misdemeanor, by state police on Tuesday at 10 p.m. She was taken into custody in Johnstown on Route 29 and released on an appearance ticket.

Teen charged with mischief, fleeing

JOHNSTOWN — An 18-year-old female from Niskayuna was charged with criminal mischief and third-degree fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, both class A misdemeanors, by state police on Tuesday at 10:48 p.m.

The teen is accused of causing more than $250 worth of reckless property damage during an incident that occurred on July 4 around 9:44 p.m. in Johnstown.

She was taken into custody in Mayfield and released on $1,500 cash bail.

Man arrested for tampering, trespass

MAYFIELD — Rodney T. Cooper, 38, of Latham, was charged with third-degree criminal tampering, a class B misdemeanor, and trespassing, a violation, by state police on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in connection to an incident that occurred on July 5 around 5:50 p.m. Cooper was released on an appearance ticket.

Warrant violation leads to arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Adonta B. Moore, 22, of 62 Rocklin St., Amsterdam, was arrested by city police at 9:54 p.m. on Tuesday on a warrant, a violation.

Police said Moore was taken into custody by state police and turned over to the Johnstown Police Department on an active bench warrant issued out of City Court.

The suspect was arraigned and faces further court action.

Local man arrested

on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Richard A. Gritzback Jr., 37, of 664 County Highway 334, Fonda, was arrested by city police at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant, a violation.

Police said he was arrested at the Fulton County Department of Social Services, 4 Daisy Lane, on an active bench warrant issued out of the city.

Gritzback was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Fulton County Jail in lieu of $200 bail to face further action in City Court.

Active warrant leads to man’s arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Nicholas R.K. Winchester, 21, of 344 W. Main St., Johnstown, was arrested by city police at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant, a violation.

Police said he turned himself in on a bench warrant issued out of City Court.

He was held for arraignment in that court.
