Gloversville woman faces DWI charges
GLOVERSVILLE — Dawn M. Hewitt, 24, of 26 Prospect Ave., was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and other vehicle and traffic violations by city police on July 3 at 1:54 a.m.
While on patrol, officers conducted a stop on Hewitt’s vehicle on Second Avenue for a traffic violation.
After smelling the scent of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person, police conducted a field sobriety test on Hewitt that yielded positive results for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Hewitt was transported to the station where she was processed.
Mayfield man charged with DWI
NORTHAMPTON — Stephen M. Livers, 57, of Mayfield, was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI and a traffic violation by state police on June 28 at 9:23 p.m.
Livers was located by police on Houseman Street.
Livers was released on an appearance ticket.
Mayfield woman faces charges
NORTHAMPTON — Alia M. Sullivan, 34, of Mayfield, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator of a vehicle and DWI, all misdemeanors, and aggravated DWI with a child, a felony, by state police on July 3 at 4:25 p.m.
Sullivan was located by police on South Main Street. Sullivan was released on an appearance ticket.
Teenager charged with burglary
CAROGA — A 17-year-old male from Caroga was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, by state police on June 26 at 8:26 p.m. in connection to an incident that occurred on June 26 at 11:11 a.m.
The male was taken into custody by police and was held.
Amsterdam man arrested on warrant
AMSTERDAM — Padro Y. Edgardo, 24, of 221 Grand St., was charged on June 18, by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on a bench warrant.
Edgardo was transported without incident from the Montgomery County Corrections Facility to the Amsterdam Town Court due to having an open bench warrant. He was remanded back to the corrections facility on $400 cash bail or $1,000 bail bond.
Amsterdam woman faces charges
AMSTERDAM — Erica A. Seise, 31, of 35 Eagle St., was charged on June 19 by Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies for inadequate exhaust and third-degree aggravated operation.
Seise was charged following a traffic stop for allegedly operating a motor vehicle with an inadequate exhaust.
During the traffic stop, deputies learned she had a suspended driver’s license and she had an active bench warrant out of Amsterdam City Police Department.
She was processed roadside and was turned over to Amsterdam City Police Department on her warrant.
