Man charged with disorderly conduct

GLOVERSVILLE — John E. Gardner, 56, of 155 First Ave., Apt. 6, was charged with disorderly conduct by city police on Tuesday at 8:20 p.m.

Officers responded to 155 First Ave. for a noise complaint. During the course of investigation police learned that Gardner had been repeatedly “banging” on the door of another apartment in the building.

Gardner was taken into custody and transported to the station where he was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable in City Court.

Refrain order violation leads to man’s arrest

GLOVERSVILLE — Luis E. Hidalgo Jr., 36, of Gloversville, was charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony; second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a violation, by city police on Tuesday at 11:43 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to an address in the city for a domestic violence incident. During the course of investigation police discovered that Hidalgo violated an active “refrain from” order of protection obtained by the victim when he engaged in a verbal argument with the individual.

Hidalgo was taken into custody and transported to the station where he was processed and arraigned in City Court.

Active bench warrant results in arrest

JOHNSTOWN — Jamie A. Herb, 36, of 11 Old Meadow Road, St. Johnsville, was arrested by city police at 9 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested at the police station on a bench warrant issued out of City Court by members of the St. Johnsville Police Department.

Herb was held for arraignment in City Court.

Area woman arrested on active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Nicole C. Tyrrrell, 29, of 174 Yates Road, Mayfield, was arrested by city police at 9 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant.

Police said she was arrested at the police station on a bench warrant issued out of City Court.

Tyrrell was held for arraignment in City Court.

Man charged with multiple offenses

JOHNSTOWN — Dominic M. Eplite, 37, of 204 Burton St., was charged by city police at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday with misdemeanor counts of: second-degree reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration; and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Police said he was charged at his residence in connection with an offense at 8 p.m. Police said patrol officers observed a vehicle operated by Eplite in the areas of Wells and West State streets. Officers observed an alleged state Vehicle and Traffic Law violation and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The vehicle failed to comply with officers attempting to stop his vehicle and a short vehicle pursuit ended in Eplite’s driveway. Eplite had a suspended registration and possessed a suspended New York state driver’s license.

Eplite will appear later in City Court.

Man picked up for having active warrant

JOHNSTOWN — Matthew Chest, 35, of 19 N. Melcher St., was arrested by city police at 8:34 p.m. Monday on a warrant.

Police said he was arrested at the police station on a bench warrant issued out of Johnstown City Court.

He will appear later in that court.
