Two charged with possessing drugs
GLOVERSVILLE — Michael D. McDonald, 34, of 34 S. Main St., and Raydell Robinson, 38, of 205 Ridge Road, Northville, were each charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance by city police on March 15 at 9:20 p.m.
Officers responded to 39 West St., Apt. 2, for an anonymous request for a welfare check on a resident at that location. During the investigation, police located a quantity of crack cocaine packaged for sale and determined that McDonald and Robinson were in possession of those narcotics. McDonald and Robinson were taken into custody without incident.
McDonald and Robinson were transported to the station and held for arraignment in City Court.
Man charged with marijuana possession
AMSTERDAM — Austin D. Reakes, 25, of Fort Johnson was charged by state police on Sunday, with unlawful possession of marijuana at 2:50 p.m. on Fort Johnson Avenue.
Traffic stop leads to DWI, possession
GLEN — Kyle F. Gray, 37, of Fonda was charged by state police on Sunday at 12:06 a.m. on Hyney Hill Road, with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and driving while intoxicated.
Unlawful possession charge lodged
GLOVERSVILLE — Damien R. Gritzback, 23, of Gloversville was charged by state police on Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Man arrested for menacing, harassment
MAYFIELD — Justin D. Rhodes, 34, of Mayfield was charged by state police on Sunday with third-degree menacing, second-degree harassment with physical contact and acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17.
Rhodes was arraigned and released in his own recognizance.
Area man charged with possession
WELLS — Eugene F. Barnaby, 45, of Athol, was charged by state police on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
Barnaby was stopped on Route 30.
Driver picked up for drunk driving
GALWAY — Mason T. Hunter, 27, of Galway, was charged by state police on Sunday with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
Hunter was stopped on Alexander Road.
